The company manufactures and supplies high quality Automatic Main Failure Relay-BSA 401 to catering to wide requirements of users. It is a very cost effective solution based on latest Micro-controller technology for reliability and compactness. It is designed for automatic control of AMF of unmanned remote site. The front face of the Automatic Main Failure Relay-BSA 401 is designed to give simple annunciation with audio and visual representation, which make it user friendly.

In automatic mode, the unit monitors 3 phase of the mains voltage and controls the automatic starting , load transfer to generator and stopping on restoration of mains supply. When the generator is running, the device monitors LLOP, High Water Temperature,Over Speed, Generator Voltage & Frequency and external fault input. Mains voltages, generator voltage, generator frequency, battery voltage and status are displayed in the 2 line LCD display.

• Software interlocking between Mains contractor and Gen set contractor.


• Two level fuel indication. Low fuel gives warning alarm with visual indication, while no fuel level shuts the gen set down avoiding air lock in fuel line.


• Low battery indication. System automatically checks battery voltage whether 12V or 24V and sets low voltage level of 10V or 20V respectively. Gives warning alarm with visual indication.


• Suitable for all gen sets ( fuel solenoid type or stop solenoid type.).


• All control relays are inside the controller . No external relay needed in the panel.


• Remote operation through RS 232 communication via modem. Monitors the remote site operation. Can be controlled from remote and parameters such as time delays,voltage and frequency limits can also be changed
.

• Provision of AMF Inhibit: It does not allow gen set to start as long as the input is low even if mains failure is detected.


• Application: In factories, when connected to Time Switch, it will not switch on Gen set during night. In Telephone Exchanges, when connected to Exchange Battery Monitoring cum Temperature Monitor to start only when Exchange battery voltage is low or room temperature is high enhancing the life of the battery & saving diesel..


• Cyclic operation: When mains fail for extended periods like summer load shedding, gen set does not run continuously but for a set RUN Time and set Off Time, thereby conserving diesel and allowing exchange battery discharge.


• Provision for additional output relays through Relay Expansion module to meet specific customer requirements. The module has 8 relays with potential free single change over contacts (Optional).


• Door open Alarm to Remote Monitoring Center.

Plug-in connectors ensures easy replacement and service at site.

• Compact in size. Needs cut out size of 138 x 138mm on the panel front. Bezel size is 144x144mm.
